Jesus is close to you. He shows up. He delivers.

Jesus is close to you. He shows up. He delivers.

Look at Acts 12:7 for example:

Acts 12:7 "Now behold, an angel of the Lord stood by him, and a light shone in the prison; and he struck Peter on the side and raised him up, saying, "Arise quickly!" And his chains fell off his hands." (NKJV)

Peter was in jail and awaiting his death sentence when God's angel freed him.

This happened because Jesus was close to Peter.

Jesus showed up and delivered.

The same goes for you and me.

Recently, I was putting concrete pieces into my truck when my finger got caught in between two pieces. My finger instantly turned black and swelled up.

I have never had a injury like this, so I prayed, "Jesus, could you bring an angel to me and explain what will happen to my finger?... Maybe at work?"

The next day at work a woman came up to me and started talking to me about my finger. She explained how the finger nail will fall off soon and how each stage of the "injury process" will go. And most importantly, she also mentioned Jesus to me.

The injury isn't that bad and the prayer isn't that important. But Jesus was close. He showed up and delivered.

When you pray, God listens and He acts. Be aware for His presence is near and He wants you to know it.

The Holy Spirit says:

"My people, I am close and I want you to know something - be alert for I am speaking to you often.

I want you to respond and talk to Me for I love your voice and I love to be near.

Come to Me and express your concerns.

Listen to Me for I will respond."
